Osun State University, Osogbo, has recorded another milestone by emerging as the first runner-up at the National Innovation and Technology Expo 2024 Competition.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji.

According to Adesoji, the institution clinched the honour as a result of the outstanding performance of an Electrical Electronics Engineering student, Abdullahi Jimoh, who represented the University at the competition.
The competition, which came up between March 11 and 15, 2024 at Eagle Square in Abuja, saw the brightest minds from various institutions display their innovative projects among which Uniosun’s project, which can be remotely controlled, stood out.
Jimoh had, under the guardianship of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Studies and Innovation initiated a project called Automated Chicken Feeder which was showcased on different platforms.
The Automated Chicken Feeder was demonstrated during the Digital Nigeria Day at the Ministry of Innovation, the Osun State Trade Fair at Aje Market, as well as Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC).
